this picture was created just before sunrise, some time back from Chatushrungi hills in pune (during the winter days.. so you see the fog in the city!)

Sweet Man?
He was a huge man.. actually the look is caused by the hard work and the afternoon heat!
Interestingly.. he is in a "sweet" business.. this shot was taken in marathwada region (near Ambejogai) in december.. This particular village supplies the famous "pedha" all over maharashtra and almost every house in the village is a cottage-industry.
will post the pedha-processing photos separately.
And yes.. the pedha was very good and very sweet... we picked up some "Work-in-progress" and some "finished goods" for a good price :)
Does the man look like a "laddu" himself :D

Cooking or Fire? (environmental portrait)
We had food on my last trip in a small village in this house. Just reiterated the fact that start of cooking can be "this" fiery :).
In this picture is grand-mother of the girl working for us in our house. we had visited their small village and still relish the "bhaji-bhakari" they served us!

Perspective
Unusual perspective and mix of red and greens.. Also tried for a third composition (both shadow and the tree on third lines) and diagonal line cutting soil & water!!
but.. if i have to explain the composition its not a composition anyway :).. so tell me if you could notice all that without me telling that :D

Peaceful Evening Sunset
It felt as if the time was frozen.. minutes after the sunset.. taken from Ratnagiri bridge.
18 mm: ISO 100 : 10 second : f/22.
Went till f/22 to ensure i get atleast 10 sec exposure to blur out the waves in the sea.. (camera hand rested on one of the bridge pillars)
guess i succeeded in what i wanted to do.. What do you think?
