3 weeks back in hyderabad.. had carried my camera but was sure will not be able to use it for the rest of the week.. so wanted to atleast take one shot before i go to bed around 11:30...

so this was the best i could come up with ;)

Something totally unrelated to what you would normally see on my photo-stream!! but hay... who wants to be type-cast!!

No intention to get anything technically right.. pure fun shot...

if i recreate it again.. will do it with off-camera strobes!

Clicked by my son, Soham... he was not just a tripod... i asked him to aim at the tree on the corner of the photo and include me as well.. and he just knew what i was looking for.. what's more.. he even counted 1-2-3 for my jump and timed the click.. i am happy for him that the shot came out pretty welll.. :)

Now.. i surprised myself with this shot as i could get this shot with Canon 18-55 without any adaptor...

I realized that if i move to manual focus, i am able to get VERY VERY close.. how interesting...

This is uncropped version... just played with shadows slider in picasa and boom!!

Especially uploading for friends with just the kit lens and think they cannot get decent macro shots :).. here is how you can!!

Recommended: Press L and F11.. it looks pretty good!

This was taken at 5:30 in the morning in almost pitch darkness... 50mm 1.8 for 30 seconds and you start seeing the invisible!! BTW.. the blurry thing at the bottom is tar road, not water!
