Something different!!

I had clicked this photo early this month, with a preference to process it with texture, finally decided to do that today :)

Hope few will like it!

Interesting fact: this photo was taken with 70-300... with 18-55 the sun looked too small so had to shift to telephoto and go long way away from the beach to get the sun in perspective with the cycle!! (was lucky to find someone with cycle anyway :) )

This was a "lazy shot" taken from passenger seat.. but i have reasons to believe that this was the best position i could have been for this shot :)

i must say.. focusing on eyes of a spider hidden deep into a thick web (mess)... was pretty hard... it looks scary but i am happy with the result... any suggestions to make it better?

BTW... this is with bare Sigma-apo-dg-macro.. without Raynox.. and with bare camera pop-up-flash... TAKE THAT!! :)

When the sprinklers are switched on.. lotus start to look even more beautiful with the drops on the petals and stray water drops flying around!!

f/5.6.1/400s.ISO:800 (needed it to be so high to capture crisp shot around sunset .. so had to resort to noiseware to kill some noise!)

Taken at Tarkarli (long the river!)..Walked 4 kilometers along the river in pitch dark (thanks to a local guide) to capture this picture.. i think worth it :)...

We had actually gone there in the hope to find some birds but only things we found were butterflies, lots of them.. and i did not complain.. can i?
