Foot in the Mouth Syndrome.. you get this when you haven't clicked a single photo for 10 days and resort to uploading old photos... this one was taken on 3rd July when i did not have a modified flash.. only natural light around sunset...
at 800 ISO, 133 mm (on my 70-300)+ Raynox
Exposure: 1/90s : f/5.6 : ISO 800.

If we think DSLR takes good pictures.. this one is from a modest P&S taken 2 years back... on Long Beach, California, US.

Had to do a bit of work to get it to this shape.. but the SOOC (see in comments) is not bad at all!

Process:
1. Created 3 copies at 0 exposure, moving levels to .50 and 1.50 respectively (to create +1 and -1 exposures.
2. Photomatrix exposure Blending
3. Cleaned the beach and reduced saturation
4. denoise
