Some times out of focus |
#7
With the Bokeh.. cutting the frame |
#8

#9
With some bold retro processing |
#10
Sometimes, just simply ready to drop |
#11
And ready to drop form a plumbing like joint |
#12
settled on the rose |
#13
or hiding in the rose |
#14
sometimes protected by spider.. like a diamond |
#15
or just sitting pretty like a pearl |
#16
equally distributed.. one-per-flower |
#17
forming semi-circles around a flower |
#18
and reflecting the green leaves |
#19
spread over a leaf |

Water drops come in all forms.. you just need an "eye" to see them.

An Artist
An Artist must never be afraid to experiment... he was not.. and i am not either...
Trying the lomo kind of effect purely with RBG curves in GIMP, no other processing on this one
Shot: taken in Central Park, New York (1 month back)

Odd One Out
Nature plays color games.. see this bunch where only one of the tiny flowers has yellow center and rest of them only white..
also lovely rain drops on each flower!

Minimilism
Nature's "minimalism" at its best.. no complexity, no details.. just pure "WATER".. directly coming from clouds...
I think this photo is about "simplicity" of photography
Needed a "refresher" after the photo which made to Front Page last night...
Also wanted to incorporate some suggestions from Pankaj on importance of Composition!
This photo is specifically created to keep negative space on the right..
Sharpness thanks to Raynox and my "now-famous" soda bottle pop-up-flash-diffuser!
Comments / Kicks welcome!
This is almost SOOC shot with very little work in gimp.

My Precious
This is a shot i will remember for a long time.
It was raining heavily.. i went in under a tree with my gear to see if i can find some interesting insect.. and this is what i found..
A drop of water was trapped in a spider-web and the spider was kind-of guarding it.. as if its something he "owned" and did not want to part with!
BTW.. the drop is no in complete focus, but the spider is.. which is what i wanted!

Granny.. i am coming
was thinking of another title "This plane will take me to my Granny!" but was too big for a title!
This was taken on New York airport (JFK) couple of weeks back.. the girl was pointing towards the plane (Air India) as they were waiting to get on the plane!
Uploading a silhouette after a long time, that to b/w.

Carrying Food
Usual Canon 1000d + Sigma 70-300 + Raynox DCR 250.
With my NEW flash modifier!!
Best Viewed on Fluidr
Here is how the mod looks like:
Made from Soda 2 liter bottle + lots of silver foil + lots of electricity tape + semi-transparent plastic glass (to emit the diffused light) + medicine bottle cap (to keep correct distance from the lens) + airline carry-on baggage tag (elastic) :D
and here is how it mounts on my camera bag.. easy!

First time my photo got "officially" used in an online article!
Eye for Detail.. do you have one? (Explored)
Definately View On Black
My usual stuff.. go near the insect without scaring it... then Canon, Sigma, Raynox, Flash & Patience works overtime
Here are the technical stuff:
Equipment: Canon 1000 D + Sigma APO DG Macro 70-300 + Raynox DCR 250 + home-made Pop-up-flash diffuser (Hand-held, manual focus) + PATIENCE
Settings: 1/200s + f/13.5 + ISO 100
Processing ... bit of CROP + hi-pass filter that's it

(Explored) God's Disco Lights? (Sunset @ Pune)
this light effect was in the sky for merely 2-3 mins y'day.. this was from my balcony.. tried to reach to the terrace but by then the effect was "gone"... so had to stay put with the building... thankfully its in silhouette!!
This is insane... have i improved in quality or is the "donkey logic" working in my favor??
Explored again... 3 in 3 days (5th, 6th, 7th June)
