This kingfisher came out of water and sat besides me... (and for that.. i was laying motionless on this REALLY DIRTY spot for 15-20 mins.. or more!) This is a full-frame picture with 300 mm.
Vaibhav had tole me that you can kill all defects of a slow-small zoom lens by going as near to the bird as possible... if i was any closer than this.. i would have cut some part of the bird! :)
And the results speak (not patting my back here!).. but i am impressed that sigma 70-300 can capture the textures on the back and the "wet" feathers on the belly!!
Thanks Vaibhav for all the tips.. i am trying to implement them as much as i can!
