Taken in Kausani last year May. Processed today :) Sometimes even the good images have to wait for their turn to come. Somehow i am very happy about this photo.. the mountain ranges, the trees lined up.. lots happening in this single frame with lines flowing all around.. hope you like it too!

Strobist Info: 2 YN-467 @ 1/64 power with home-made-diffusers fired from left & right of the glass with the help of Yongnou RF-603 :)

What's most interesting (for me) is that the glass looks to be broken on the right.. where as its actually not...just a splash!

Also the out of focus drops on the top look interesting..i guess

Cars are Back.. with a splash!!

Via Flickr:
Dedicated to upcoming CARS-Part 2

The shot.. the car hit the rim and bounced instead of going into the glass (as intended) giving a splash of water and the car in mid air (on bounce back).. guess most interesting shot from last night :D

Yes.. those strobes WORK... 2 YN-467 fired with the help of Yongnou RF-603 :)

Second shot with the new strobes.. this time trying little color and diffusion. Still don't haven't got time to do the umbrella shopping.. so stuck one strobe inside a orange laundry bag (on the left) and another one under a white plastic bag (on the right)!

Deadly Pose

This is by far my most "Cleaned up" photo.. i was sitting on this photo for past 1 year (photo taken on 11th May 2010 in Jim Corbett National Park). What clean-up.. see below!!

Inspired by so many posts from legendary Arthur (http://www.birdsasart-blog.com/) that i decided to work on this photo which i had assumed was too messed-up to ever upload.

The b/g is still not the cleanest.. but as clean as it gets for this bird which prefers the messy surroundings to camouflage!

Comments.. suggestions PLEASE.. what do you think.. should we do "this" level of editing or not?

Unedited Version

Recovered the feathers and the leg by removing the branch

This was an "achievement" for me!!

some serious clean-up to remove distractions

Look on the stone, the background, near the feathers.. clean-up at many places
